I love looking at photos. Especially interesting ones. I wish I had a really sweet camera and that I had gobs of time to just go out and take interesting photos. Looking at a strangers photos is the best. Sometimes I like to go to Google Images and search for random things. You can find ramdom vacation photos, family photos, photos of weddings, birthdays... almost anything you can think of. I like to try to put stories to the pictures or think about what is going on around the picture. It's a brief moment in time that is forever captured, no matter how fleeting the actual moment was.
I am in the process of collecting pictures of family members. I am trying to create a special project to honor our parents, grandparents and great-grandparents on their wedding day. I spent some time with my mother and grandmother after my great-grandmother, Emma passed away. We found this very 60's looking picture album that was loaded with all kinds of photographic gems. I found a picture of my great-grandmother from before she got married and it was like looking in a mirror! I also saw pictures of my great-great grandmother. I actually knew her. She passed away when I was 6 years old. Photos of my family remind me of how very lucky I am. I have been surrounded by some very strong women and I take a lot of strength from that today.

Paris...
Oui, Paris. Chris and I finalized our honeymoon today. We are leaving the Monday after the wedding for 7 nights and 8 days in Paris. It's so romantic is it almost cliche. We are staying at a beautiful hotel in the Opera district. Ahh... November in Paris. Strolls on the quai, visiting the Louvre, Versailles and the Musee D'Orsay. It will undoubtedly be cool weather-wise, but I am sure I won't even feel it... I will be too insanely happy!
